Second Missionary Baptist Church stands at the crossroads of this community as beacon of empowerment through worship, a safe haven of refuge for the unsaved, and a place of provision for those who are in need.
By the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit we purpose to establish a community of faith-inspired believers whose lives and dedication to ministry exemplify the transforming power of the cross and the glory of God.
"To proclaim a gospel message of salvation to the lost, sanctification for believers and service to our community"
This ministry is established on foundational principles that embody an ongoing commitment to prayer and a systematic study of the word of God.
We believe that these are the only Biblically ordained strategies that will prepare the church to embrace righteousness for all believers, to proclaim a gospel message of redemption for the unsaved and to sustain a commitment to service.
The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined. Isaiah 9:2
